First it was Charlize Theron who made us proud by making it big in Hollywood and now its the gorgeous Candice Swanepoel in the international modelling industry! If I wasn't convinced before, I definitely am now...South African girls have some serious talent.

Candice Swanepoel was born in Mooi River in 1988, in KwaZulu-Natal, and was spotted by a model scout in a Durban flea market at age 15. By age 16, she was earning R40,000 for a day's work.
Her resume includes covers for Vogue, ELLE and GQ, and advertisements for Nike, Diesel, Guess?, Tommy Hilfiger,Tom Ford, and Versace. She has walked the runway for Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce and Gabbana, Fendi, Chanel, Betsey Johnson, Givenchy, Jean Paul Gaultier, and numerous other designers, as well as for Victoria's Secret in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and Swim 2012. Now ladies it can be very easy to dislike Candice but I admire her. It takes a lot of hard work to keep in shape and not let the competitive industry get you down. We should support this South African Honey!!!
